Luis Machicao has shown his collections at fashion shows around the world and was commissioned by the President and First Lady of Peru to serve his country because of his impeccable taste for 15 years.
He dressed Latin American presidents, celebrities and socialites among TV mini series, soap operas, and theatre as well as worked for 32 motion pictures worldwide like the international hit Hunger Games (Donald Sutherland). He has been related with Hollywood actors and actresses, writers and other celebrities in the political and entertainment area. He was commissioned to work as image consultant and fashion designer for the the mayor of Charlotte NC, as well as other politicians, and worked for the Miss USA circuit doing pageant gowns. His Public persona was portrayed in more than 500 magazines like Vanity Fair (Vanidades), Southern Living and Luxe Magazine, among others.
After presenting his 2014 Spring Collection at New York Fashion Week he won the coveted «Best Designer» Award in Paris while showing his collection at Paris Tiffany Fashion Week, making him the most high profile designer from Charlotte and the only one showing his collections in the world capital of fashion.
